a snapshot

I've never been anything more than the girl with cheap sneakers and a point-and-shoot camera making my way through the woods and the murky waters, looking for some branch to firmly grasp onto. My writing, poetry, and art have been featured in ANGLES, Folio, Zingara Poetry Review, and From Whispers to Roars.

Filmmaker

Ongoing

Currently editing a full-length documentary, shot with iPhone and Canon DSLR, in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Focused on my grandparents' immigration to the US from Belfast, Northern Ireland in the 1950s. What started as a rote documentation of immigration has turned into a story on young love, persistence, and the nature of domesticity.
